Welcome to British Sourdough. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Orders and Payments

• All prices are listed in GBP and include/exclude VAT (as applicable).
• Payments must be made in full before orders are processed and dispatched.

2. Delivery

• We aim to dispatch orders within 2-4 working days.
• Delivery times may vary depending on location and shipping method.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs.

EU Shipping Update

Due to the introduction of new EU packaging regulations (EU Packaging & Packaging Waste Directive PPWD), we have taken the decision to suspend shipping to EU countries.

These requirements introduce significant administrative obligations and associated costs, which are not currently viable for a small independent business to manage effectively.

We are extremely grateful for the continued support of our EU customers and sincerely appreciate your understanding.

If you wish to raise concerns regarding these regulations or their impact on small businesses, we recommend contacting your local EU regulatory authority or relevant trade body.

Should the situation change, we will review this decision and provide an update accordingly.

3. Returns and Cancellations

• Customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receipt.
• Items must be returned unused and in original packaging with all labelling intact for a refund. Items damaged in the post and returned will not be eligible for a refund
• Refunds will be processed once we receive and inspect the returned item. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned items.

Returning non- faulty items: The customer covers the cost of postage

Returning non-faulty items when complimentary shipping is used at time of purchase: This cost is deducted from any refunds

4. Damaged or Faulty Items

• If you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact us as soon as possible with photos.
• We will arrange a replacement or refund as necessary.

5. Intellectual Property

• All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is owned by or licensed to British Sourdough registered as BC Creatives Ltd.
• Unauthorised use or reproduction is prohibited.

6. Privacy Policy

• We respect your privacy and handle personal data in accordance with GDPR and relevant data protection laws.

7. Liability

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to product use.
• Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.

9. Intellectual Property and Personal Use

• All sourdough starters, products, recipes, instructional materials, PDFs, packaging concepts, written content, branding and other materials sold, supplied or made available by British Sourdough are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

• Unless prior written permission has been given by British Sourdough, customers must not reproduce, copy, resell, redistribute, commercially propagate, replicate, adapt or otherwise use any products, recipes, written materials, branding, packaging concepts or instructional content for commercial purposes.

• All intellectual property rights remain the property of British Sourdough or its relevant rights holder.

Review Prize Draw – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

    The promoter of this prize draw is British Sourdough (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Eligibility

• The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
• Employees of British Sourdough, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

• Entry is made by submitting a review on our website.
• Every review is classed as an entry.
• Reviews must be genuine, based on real experience, and comply with our website guidelines.

4. Entry Period

• Each prize draw runs monthly.
• Entries are valid for the calendar month in which the review is submitted, regardless of when the purchase was made.
• Entries will not roll over into subsequent months.

5. The Prize

• One winner will be selected each month.
• The prize is changes each month.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

• The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the relevant month.
• The draw will take place within 5 days of the end of each month.
• The winner will be contacted via the email address provided when submitting the review.
• If the winner does not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity

• By entering, you agree that we may use your name and/or review content for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media channels, without additional compensation.

8. Reviews Moderation

• We reserve the right to review, moderate, edit, or remove any review at our sole discretion.
• Reviews that are deemed fraudulent, offensive, defamatory, or in breach of our guidelines will be disqualified and removed.

9. General Conditions

• We reserve the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify entries at our discretion where we believe there has been a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
• We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the prize draw at any time without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so.

10. Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, British Sourdough shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the prize draw or acceptance of the prize.

11. Data Protection

• Any personal data submitted will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and used solely for the administration of this prize draw.

12. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Loyalty Rewards Scheme

• Customers earn 5 loyalty points for every £1 spent on eligible purchases.
• 100 points can be redeemed for a discount at checkout.
• The maximum discount that can be applied to a single order is 20% of the order value.
• The maximum discount that can be applied to a single order is £20.
• Loyalty points cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable.
• Points will not be awarded on cancelled or refunded orders, and we may remove points awarded for orders that are later refunded.
• We may refuse, suspend or remove loyalty points or participation in the scheme where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, abuse or fraudulent activity.
• We may amend or withdraw the scheme at any time. Where possible, we will give reasonable notice on our website.
